Vol. 117 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballina-Sligo Bus Service.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will make the necessary arrangement with Córas Iompair Éireann by which the bus leaving Ballina in the morning would so alter its timetable as to accommodate passengers on the route who wish to catch the Dublin train leaving Sligo at 9.20 a.m.

I am informed by Córas Iompair Éireann that the timetable of this bus service has been arranged to meet the convenience of the great majority of passengers, and they would not feel warranted in making the change proposed, which would involve leaving Ballina at 7.20 a.m.
