Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - State Saving through Pensioners' Deaths.

asked the Minister for Defence the total expenditure that has been saved by the State as a result of the deaths of recipients of military service pensions under the Military Service Pensions Acts, 1924 and 1934.

The total amount saved to the State as a result of the deaths of persons awarded pensions under the Military Service Pensions Acts is £521,125, approximately, to the 31st March last.
