Vol. 118 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Galvanised-Iron Goods.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if, in view of the substantial quantities of galvanised-iron dust-bins now being imported, and the fact that these articles can be efficiently manufactured in this country, he will extend the existing duty on galvanised-iron goods to include dust-bins.

The application by the manufacturers for the restoration of the suspended import duty on galvanised-iron dust-bins is at present being investigated by the Industrial Development Authority.
