Vol. 118 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Delay in Replying to Letter.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he will state why a letter which he addressed to his Department on September 20th last conveying the terms of a resolution passed by the Kerry County Council regarding the steam-rolling of the Castlegregory-Brandon road was not replied to until the 9th November.

The representations which I received from the Deputy and other Deputies, taken in conjunction with further local representations as to the value of road work already carried out in the vicinity, necessitated an inspection of the road. This was carried out as quickly as the official engagements of the inspector permitted. Replies were then issued simultaneously to all parties on the 9th of this month.
