Vol. 120 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Enniscorthy Post Office Switchboard.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state (i) when work will commence on the new switchboard in Enniscorthy Post Office, and (ii) the reason for the delay in providing it in view of the fact that it is essential to proper working conditions.

It is hoped to commence work on the installation of modern switchboard equipment at Enniscorthy within the next four months when certain structural alterations, which must first be carried out, are completed.

Because of difficulty in making available suitable accommodation to house this equipment it was not possible to undertake this work earlier.
