Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Number of Motor Vehicles.

andMr. Colley asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of motor vehicles registered in Dublin City at present and the total road tax collected in respect of them.

The number of vehicles licensed in Dublin City and County on 30th June, 1950, was 42,915. Separate particulars for the city and county respectively are not available. The amount collected during the current licensing year up to 30th June, 1950, for Dublin City and County in respect of motor taxation and driving licences amounted to £839,389 10s. 8d.
