- County Dublin Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) the number of cottages constructed by Dublin County Council from February, 1948, to date; (b) the number in course of construction, and (c) the total estimated requirements for the county health district.

The numbers are as follows: (a) 778; (b) 367; (c) 2,500, inclusive of (a) and (b).

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of houses proposed to be built by Dublin County Council in the following areas, viz., Balbriggan, Donabate, Lusk, Swords, Lucan, Blanchardstown, Clonsilla, Clondalkin and Tallaght.

The following figures indicate the housing programme of the county council for the areas mentioned and include houses completed in recent times and houses in course of erection as well as houses proposed to be erected: Balbriggan, 147; Donabate, 60; Lusk, 31; Swords, 98; Lucan, 48; Blanchardstown, 48; Clonsilla, 41; Clondalkin, 96; Tallaght, 146.
