Vol. 125 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Income-Tax Assessment.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number of persons assessed for income-tax in the year 1950 to 1951.

While income-tax statistics are not compiled in such a form as to enable the information asked for by the Deputy to be given, it has been estimated that the total number of persons effectively liable to income-tax for the year 1950-51 was 215,000.
