Vol. 126 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Claims of Old I.R.A. Men.

Mr. Byrne

asked the Minister for Defence if he proposes at an early date to consider the claims of the Old I.R.A. men as set out in a statement issued to all the candidates in the recent election by the executive committee of the national association of Old I.R.A. men and signed on their behalf by Mr. J. O'Connor, chairman.

Those and a number of similar problems are awaiting consideration. So far, I have not had an opportunity of giving them my attention.
