Vol. 126 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Prospects for Wool Crop.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is in a position to indicate the prospects for wool of this season's crop.

Mr. Walsh

Although world prices for wool have receded appreciably from the high levels reached some months ago, I have no reason to believe that the returns to sheep-owners for wool this season will be unsatisfactory.

You are not advocating the control of wool any more.

Mr. Walsh

We never have.

Did you not?
