Vol. 127 No. 1

Questions— Written Answers. - Sale of Goods Act, 1893.

asked the Minister for Justice whether, in view of the decrease in the value of money, he will introduce proposals for legislation to extend the limit of £10 provided by Section 4 of the Sale of Goods Act, 1893.

I have no evidence of any demand for an amendment of the law on the lines suggested by the Deputy or that the present state of the law occasions any inconvenience or hardship. In the absence of such evidence I do not propose to take any action in the matter.
