asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will give details of grants made by him on the recommendation of the Cultural Relations Committee since it was formed (a) in respect of individuals, groups and bodies brought to the State or for services performed in it and (b) in respect of services, etc., outside the State.

As this answer is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Chinn Chomhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

Since the Advisory Committee on Cultural Relations was formed in January, 1949, the following grants were made on its recommendation by the Minister for External Affairs:—
