Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Loans.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will instruct local authorities to dispense with the necessity for two sureties, with credit banking accounts, for applicants for loans under the Small Dwellings (Acquisition) Acts.

The question of any security in addition to those specified in the Acts which may be required by local authorities in relation to advances under the Small Dwellings (Acquisition) Acts is a matter within the discretion of each local authority.
