Vol. 130 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kelbehenny Water and Sewerage Scheme.

Mr. Crowley

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether plans for a water and sewerage scheme for Kilbehenny have been submitted to his Department by the Limerick County Council; and, if so, whether they have been approved.

Outlines of a scheme for the provision of a water supply for Kilbehenny have been submitted by the sanitary authority. The estimated cost of the proposals was very high in relation to the population to be served and the sanitary authority has accordingly been requested to have the technical aspects of the scheme reconsidered with a view to reducing the cost.

No proposals for the provision of a sewerage scheme have been submitted.
