Vol. 131 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Falcarragh Housing Schemes.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received from the Donegal County Council particulars of a housing scheme in the town of Falcarragh; and, if so, if, in view of the urgency of the project, he will sanction the proposed building site.

A site at Falcarragh proposed for acquisition for housing purposes by the Donegal County Council was not considered entirely suitable as it could be developed only as a long cul-de-sac. It was suggested to the council that, if an alternative site was not readily available, they should endeavour to acquire additional land adjoining the proposed site in order to provide access from two roadways.

It is understood that arrangements are now being made to acquire the additional land.
