Vol. 132 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - West Cork Bus Service.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will ask Córas Iompair Éireann to provide a twice weekly bus service from Timoleague and Barryroe to Clonakilty to enable these people to do the weekly shopping.

The responsibility for meeting the demand for transport facilities has been placed by the Transport Act, 1950, on the Board of Córas Iompair Éireann, appointed under that Act by the Government. I would suggest that the Deputy communicate direct with the board in the matter.
