The Kildare County Council have recently furnished to my Department a revised estimate of the cost of the replacement of the Naas railway bridge, amounting to £9,751 5s. This estimate is at present under examination by my technical advisers, and I am not in a position to indicate at this stage what additional grant, if any, will be made available for the work.
