Vol. 133 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killybegs New Pier.

asked the Minister for Finance if in view of the fact that the annual Ancient Order of Hibernians' demonstration in County Donegal will be held in Killybegs this year he will ensure that all old timber and scrap will be removed from the Diamond and the precincts of the river before the 15th August.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when it is proposed to have the new pier at Killybegs, County Donegal, completed and the approximate cost of completion.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to answer Questions Nos. 12 and 13 together. It is expected that the new pier at Killybegs will be completed about mid September. The cost of the work is estimated at £63,000. The storage and working space convenient to the pier will be required until the completion of the works, and it will not be practicable to vacate this space by the 15th August.

What is the Deputy afraid of?

Are you afraid of a scrap?

I did not get that.
