Vol. 142 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tourist Agents' Visits to Donegal.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will state how many have been brought to Donegal of the travel and tourist agents or other representatives who have been brought to this country by Government or semiGovernment bodies, such as Fógra Fáilte, C.I.E., Aer Lingus, etc., in the past 12 months on conducted tours through the tourist resorts.

These tours are arranged by Fógra Fáilte in discharge of their function of publicising Irish tourist attractions and I do not intervene in matters of this kind.

I understand, however, that in the past 12 months 16 travel agents have visited County Donegal on tours organised by Fógra Fáilte.
