Vol. 143 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Boat Slip.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state whether a decision has yet been taken for the erection of a boat slip or landing jetty at Doorin Point, Mountcharles, County Donegal.

A decision in this matter must await an engineering inspection of the site which it has not yet been found possible to arrange.

Is it not a fact that some months ago—to be exact on 4th April last—the Parliamentary Secretary informed me that he was having these inquiries made?

Inquiries?

The Deputy must remember that there are a number of other cases that have been scheduled to be undertaken which take priority over this.

Does the Parliamentary Secretary agree that this is one of the reasons why the Board of Works should be abolished?

I do not mind.
