Vol. 145 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Bogs.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission propose to take over the Shanagher and Redwood bogs for division amongst the people of those areas in view of the fact that these people have no turbary of their own.

The Land Commission have a substantial area of turbary on hands in the townland of Redwood on the Trench estate, Record No. S.463. This bog will be made available as soon as practicable. The Shanagher bog cannot be readily identified, but if the Deputy gives further particulars I shall have the matter re-examined.
