The total amount paid at Lough Carra from the date of its establishment in June, 1950, to the end of March, 1954, was (a) wages £16,432 and (b) hire work on cartage £461. In addition it is estimated that a sum of approximately £140 was spent on ploughing contract work but an exact figure is not available for this expenditure.
