Vol. 146 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Road.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that a closing order for the main Cork-Dublin road at Littleton, County Tipperary, has now been in operation for a considerable period with resultant inconvenience to the general public; and, if so, if he will indicate why it has been necessary to have the road closed for such an extended time and on what date it will be reopened.

I understand that the portion of the road referred to by the Deputy which the Tipperary County Council found necessary to close temporarily to permit of the carrying out of two major road improvement works will be reopened to traffic at the end of the week.
