Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Newspaper and Periodical Circulation Figures.
I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the certified and guaranteed circulation figures for newspapers and periodicals, as supplied by the publishers, in which Government advertisements appeared during the 12 months ended 5th March, 1955.
The statement also contains a list of other newspapers and periodicals in which Government advertisements appeared during the period already mentioned. No recent certified or guaranteed circulation figures in respect of those newspapers and periodicals have been furnished by the publishers.
Following is the statement:—

The word certified indicates that figures are supported by auditors' certificates.
The word guaranteed indicates that the figures quoted have been guaranteed by the publishers.
In the remaining cases no recent figures of circulation have been furnished by the publishers.
