An application for the improvement of portion of the Togher stream has been received in my Department. It is of comparatively recent date and I regret that, having regard to earlier commitments, it is not possible to say when work on the river may be undertaken. The Deputy may be assured, however, that it will be dealt with as soon as practicable.
