asked the Minister for Defence if he will state in respect of each county the total number of cases in which special allowances have been (a) suspended and (b) reduced in the period since the 1st June, 1954.

(a) eligibility for the Service (1917-1921) Medal without bar has been questioned

(b) overpayments occurred which are being recovered from current awards
