I am informed by the E.S.B. that the Lettermore rural area, which includes Lettermore, Tiernee and Lettermullen, and the Camus rural area, which includes Camus and Lettermuckoo, have been considered for selection on a number of occasions but have not, so far, been selected as their returns did not compare favourably with those of other areas awaiting development in the board's Galway district. The areas will be reconsidered in due course and the decision of the board will depend on how the returns then compare with those for other areas awaiting development in the Galway district.
