asked the Taoiseach if he will state for 1938 the estimated number of persons at work distinguishing between (a) farmers, (b) relatives assisting on farms, (c) employees, (d) own account workers (except farmers) and (e) all others.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the desired information.

Following is the statement:—
