Vol. 168 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unsuitable Schools: Revocation of Certificates.

asked the Minister for Education if he will take steps under sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 5 of the School Attendance Act, 1926, to revoke his certificate of suitability for the purposes of the Act for all national schools which have been condemned by a competent authority as being unsuitable for use by young children.

Mr. Lynch

The section of the School Attendance Act to which the Deputy refers in his question relates to schools other than national schools. The matter referred to in the question does not, therefore, arise.
