asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state separately in respect of each county and county borough the number of (a) old age pensions, (b) blind pensions and (c) widows' pensions payable in 1957.
Written Answers. - Social Welfare Pensions.
Particulars as to the numbers of old age and blind pensions in payment in the various counties and county boroughs are compiled only once each year, as on the last Friday of December. The numbers of these pensions, and widows' contributory and non-contributory pensions, payable on the last Friday of December, 1957, are set out in the accompanying tabular statement.
