Vol. 170 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Junior Engineers for Airport Work: Experience Requirements.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the minimum experience required in competitions A and B (for junior engineers for airport work) held by the Civil Service Commissioners in January of this year; and whether in each case these minimum conditions have been adhered to.

Candidates in both competitions were required to have had satisfactory experience in the design and or execution of civil engineering works. A minimum period of two years such experience was prescribed for competition A and a minimum period of seven years such experience for competition B. I have satisfied myself that the minimum conditions have been adhered to in each case.
