Vol. 170 No. 4

Committee on Finance. - Vote 7—Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £1,339,350 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1959, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Office of the Revenue Commissioners, including certain other Services administered by that Office.

I want to ask the Minister only one question. Is he in a position yet to make any statement about the attitude of the Revenue Commissioners towards security in relation to certain new undertakings that they are considering—or a certain new undertaking?

I am afraid I could not give any information. I do not know.

When the Minister is in a position to disclose information about that, perhaps he will tell me?

If the Deputy would write to me, perhaps I could let him know.

Vote put and agreed to.
