The Land Commission are aware that congestion exists in this district and are taking practical steps to relieve it. With this in view, they have already acquired an area of 87 acres in the locality and have instituted proceedings for a further acquisition. At some stage previously, they did consider the acquisition of it.
That is, recently? In the last year or two? Or, is the Minister referring to a few years back?
