Vol. 178 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Berthage for Youghal Fishing Boats.

39.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the grave position affecting the livelihood of the fishermen in Youghal on account of their having no safe berthage for their fishing boats; and if he will come to Youghal to see the position at an early date.

I am aware of the position in regard to berthage for fishing boats at Youghal. The problem seems to be a technical one of devising an effective scheme of improvements at reasonable cost; this is a matter for the Harbour Commissioners and their advisers.
