I am informed that, in the year ended 30th June, 1958, no boat was provided and eight applications were received, and that, in the year ended 30th June, 1959, two boats were provided—one under each scheme—and eight applications were received. I understand that six of the applications are still under consideration and that seven lapsed as the applicants did not proceed with them.
Is the Minister aware that one of the boats so allocated is now a wreck as a result of the failure to provide safe berthage?
I am not so aware.
