Grants are not allocated for Christmas Relief Schemes as such. Grants totalling £800, subject to a local contribution of £265, have been notified to Kildare County Council for employment schemes in the four nonurbanised towns in Co. Kildare which qualified for such grants this year. It is expected that each of the four schemes will give employment to seven men for a period of about four weeks.
