asked the Minister for Agriculture if in view of the fact that last year growers of feeding barley were very disappointed when the marketing of the crop was handed over to the Council of the Maize Meal Millers and not to An Bord Grain which contained a number of farmers' representatives he proposes to give the marketing of this year's feeding barley to the Council of the Maize Meal Millers on somewhat similar lines as last year, or to hand it over to An Bord Gráin.

As last year's scheme for the marketing of feeding barley secured the payment of the guaranteed price to barley growers and provided feeding stuffs at reasonable prices it is my intention to continue the scheme this year.
