asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of internal (a) local and (b) trunk telephone calls, and external calls in each of the financial years from 1950 to 1960, and the percentage increase under each head in each year.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the particulars required.
