Vol. 188 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Import Levy on Invalid Chairs.

10.

andMr. McQuillan asked the Minister for Finance whether in view of the fact that invalid chairs are not manufactured in this country he will take steps to remove the import levy imposed on such chairs, which bears heavily on persons in need of them.

Following representations already received in regard to the matter raised in the Question, mechanically propelled invalid chairs are now being relieved of import duty and levy.
