Vol. 188 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers' Holiday Pay.

27.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will amend the regulations on the employment of forestry workers so as to enable such workers to receive holiday pay for Saint Stephen's Day, Good Friday and Easter Monday.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to Deputy Corish on the 9th February last, in which it was stated that the extent of the holidays allowed to Forestry and Land Commission workers will be reviewed in due course in the light of legislation being introduced by the Minister for Industry and Commerce in regard to holidays for workers.
