Vol. 189 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Erection of Dublin Assembly Hall.

32.

asked the Minister for Local Government what the objections were to the utilisation of a site at Lismore Road and Clonmacnoise Road, Dublin, for the erection of an Assembly Hall; and if these objections were of a general nature which would apply to similar proposals in the future.

I understand that Dublin Corporation disapproved some years ago of a proposal to erect a hall on this site because it did not comply with their Byelaws for Places of Public Resort. I have no functions in the matter.
