A housing survey completed in Naas Urban District in April last showed that 53 families regarded as eligible for rehousing by the local authority were living in unfit houses incapable of economic repair. It is understood that, in addition, applications for rehousing from 15 other families are being examined at present. If these are found eligible the total number of houses required would be 68, of which 24 are at present in course of erection.
