I presume that the Deputy is referring to the storm which occurred on 16th September, 1961.
I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the following costs were incurred by the Board up to the 11th November, 1961, in the repair of damage caused by the storm of 16th September, 1961:—
Galway City, £2,500 approximately;
Remainder of Co. Galway, £7,550 approximately.
The Board add that some permanent repairs have still to be effected.
