At 31st March, 1961, 3,119 of the 3,312 labourers' cottages provided by Wicklow County Council had been included in cottage purchase schemes. The number of cottages vested at that date was 1,019, and applications for vesting in respect of a further 1,175 had been received. I am not aware what number of cottages is likely to be vested by the council in the next six months.
