As has been indicated in the Programme of Law Reform recently published, an interdepartmental Committee is at present considering the question whether the enactments that provide for compensation for malicious injuries should be amended or repealed. The Committee's terms of reference cover injury to the person as well as injury to property. I expect to receive the Committee's report later this year.
