asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs how many street telephone kiosks there are in the city of Dublin; the yearly number of calls made from such kiosks; and the amount received in charges.

There are 370 street telephone kiosks in the city of Dublin. The amount received in charges for the year ended 31st March, 1961, which is the latest period available, was £75,200. Records are not kept of the number of calls made — as distinct from the call receipts — from each kiosk which would enable me to supply the figure sought in the second part of the question.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs what plans he has for increasing the number of telephone street kiosks in the city of Dublin, and the proposed location of such kiosks.
