3.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to repair the worst sections of the accommodation and bog road at Lower Forest, Mountmellick, County Laois, from the county road at Patrick Dunne's house in the direction of William Dunne's house to the main bog road near Margaret Farrell's house; and if he will have an immediate inspection carried out so that his Department may understand the difficulties experienced by turf cutters from Mountmellick, who must use this very important bog and accommodation road.

4.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to repair the branch bog road from the Coolnamona bog, Clondarrig, Portlaoise, at the corner of Mrs. Rourke's land in the direction of Patrick Quinn's turf bank; and if he is satisfied that this bog road is in a sufficient state of repair for the many users and turf cutters in the area.

5.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will take steps to repair all sections of the accommodation and bog road from the Portarlington-Cushina county road to Mr. Richard Kelly's house and to his bog; if he is aware of the importance of this road to the local users; what amount of grants has been expended on this section of road recently; and if further moneys will be made available to complete all sections of the road to the satisfaction of the local users.

6.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will make arrangements for the provision of a suitable grant to repair the bog and accommodation road from the county road at Derryneavy bridge, Leamore, County Offaly to Mrs. Anne Daly's entrance gate; and if he will have a further inspection carried out in view of the urgency of this proposal and the fact that there are very many users of this important accommodation and bog road.

7.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will make arrangements for the provision of a suitable grant for the repair of the accommodation and bog road at Mr. Frank Gowan's house to Garry's bridge at Clonminch, Tullamore, County Offaly; if he is aware that there are many local users of this important bog road; and if he will take steps to see that it is kept in good repair.

8.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to provide a further grant to repair the worst sections of the bog road from the Togher, Clonydonnin, county road at Esker, Ballinahown, County Offaly, opposite John Bailey's house; and if arrangements will be made for the carrying out of further piping and suitable drainage so that this portion of the bog and accommodation road will be put into first-class repair.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 3 to 8 together.

These works have been done and full information was given on 14th November, 1961, to all the Deputies for the constituency.

The grant for the road to Mr. Richard Kelly's house and bog was £50.
