asked the Minister for Agriculture what steps he has taken in the last few months to ascertain any changes necessary in this country's manner of production of the various agricultural commodities if and when Ireland enters the Common Market.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 10 and 11 together.

An examination of the changes which may be necessary in our agricultural production and marketing systems to bring them into line with the requirements of the Common Market is being undertaken by the various Commodity Study Groups and Survey Teams which have been set up during the past six months by my Department on my instructions.
