asked the Minister for Lands when it is proposed to divide the lands on the Lalor Estate, Clontoura, Mount-mellick, County Laois amongst the local deserving applicants.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of this 179 acre Estate but they are having enquiries made in the matter.

37.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have acquired by way of purchase the Blake Estate, Health, Portlaoise, County Laois; and, if so, when it is proposed to divide it amongst the many local deserving applicants.

This estate has not been acquired by the Land Commission but inquiries are being made to ascertain whether purchase is feasible.

Surely the Parliamentary Secretary will agree that the lands have been offered to the Land Commission?

It is a question of investigation.
