Vol. 195 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Banteer (Cork) Lands.

44.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission are at present considering the acquisition of any farms for division at Fortgrady, Banteer, County Cork; if so, whether he will give details of the amounts of land, etc. which it is hoped to acquire; and on what date it is expected to carry out any such proposed division.

Whilst there are no proceedings pending for acquisition of any farms in Fortgrady townland, the Land Commission are at present having enquiries made in respect of an aggregate area of some 400 acres which has been offered to them in this and an adjacent townland. Pending completion of their enquiries, however, it is not possible to indicate what further action may be taken regarding these lands.
